Where and when a balloon flight starts

It depends on the flight: some pick you up at your hotel, others expect you at a meeting point 10 to 15 minutes early, and a few operators call you the day before to agree it (listings read on 05/11/2026).

Start times follow the sun, so they move through the year. Toledo takes off around 08:00. Marrakech has a first flight at sunrise, at 06:30, 06:00 or 05:00 depending on the season, and a cheaper second flight at 07:00 all year. Mallorca moves its sunrise start from 06:00 in June to 08:00 in January. On several flights the operator confirms the exact time the day before, so keep your phone on.

Teotihuacán, flight only. Meeting point: the Aerodiverti balloon port on the Teotihuacán to Tulancingo road, km 28.5.
Teotihuacán and Guadalupe Basilica. Meeting point: next to the Ángel de la Independencia, Paseo de la Reforma 31, Mexico City.
Tuscany. Meeting point: Via Cassia per Siena 40, San Casciano in Val di Pesa.
Phoenix. Meeting point: 7934 N Glen Harbor Blvd, Glendale (Arizona). There is no hotel pickup.
Albuquerque. Meeting point: 5601 Eagle Rock Ave NE, Albuquerque (New Mexico). There is no hotel pickup.
Tequisquiapan. Meeting point: the Vuela en Globo hangar, Calle Jazmín 35A, Tequisquiapan. A minibus takes the group from there to the take-off site.
Ibiza. Meeting point: Avenida Isidoro Macabich 1, San Rafael de la Cruz (in front of the El Cruce bar). There is no hotel pickup.

Times read in the listings

Toledo: take-off around 08:00; arrive 15 minutes early.
